air rights. Client representation usually begins at the acquisition and pre-construction
phases of the project, and continues through completion of construction, co-operative
or condominium conversion, occupancy, leasing, permanent financing or sale.

G. Seiden Alvin
Schein
Founded in 1996 by Jay G. Seiden and Alvin Schein, who together have more than 50 years of experience as attorneys practicing within (and ably navigating) the maze of laws that affect real estate, the firm has been instrumental in the origination and development of numerous projects for its clients. Jay G. Seiden is a member of the Housing Committee of The Real Estate Board of New York, as well as a member of the Executive Board of the New York State Association for Affordable Housing (NYSAFAH). Alvin Schein regularly lectures at City Bar Association courses on the topic of real estate contracts and is currently a member of a committee of attorneys that is reviewing and recommending revisions to the New York Condominium Act.
