Files and Person Deadline

Every property receiving benefits pursuant to the Industrial & Commercial Incentive Program (“ICIP”) and/or the Industrial & Commercial Abatement Program (“ICAP”) is required to file a Certificate of Continuing Use (“CCU”) by January 5th, 2025. Failure to file the CCU by the deadline may result in a suspension or revocation of the ICIP or ICAP benefits.

If you have a property currently receiving ICIP and/or ICAP benefits, you should receive a notice from the New York City Department of Finance (“DOF”) informing you of the need to file a CCU. If you did not receive a notice from DOF, or if you need any assistance with the CCU filing, please contact Seiden & Schein P.C.’s Tax Incentives Department at [email protected], and we will be happy to assist you.

Seiden & Schein, P.C. is available and ready to aid you with all of your tax exemption and abatement needs including 421-a, 485-x, 467-m, 420-a and 420-c.  Please contact Jason Hershkowitz or any member of Seiden & Schein, P.C.’s tax incentives team for additional information regarding any of these programs.
